JAPAN COFFEE PROJECT LOGO

デザインしたロゴタイプは読売新聞、朝日新聞のウェブニュースを始め、
20を超えるメディアに掲載されました。

他社の提案とのコンペで、提案した12案の中、最終的にシンプルなA案のロゴタイプを選んでいただきました。
選んでくださりありがとうございます。

ロゴの中の英字”O“はコーヒーチェリーとなり、日本の日の丸の意も込めてあります。皆さんがプロジェクトに参加しやすくしたいため、分かりやすく、時代に流されず且つ目を引くシンプルなロゴタイプデザインを作りました。

『JAPAN COFFEE PROJECT』は日本国産コーヒーを作っている会社(Yamako Farm)が行なっているプロジェクトであり、日本は気候的にコーヒー栽培が難しく、国産コーヒーは栽培不可能とされていましたが、試行錯誤の繰り返しで、遂に温室ハウスで栽培を成功させました。今年初収穫できたようです。

今回はこのプロジェクトに参加できて光栄に思います。このロゴを通じて、もっとたくさんの人に日本国産コーヒーに対する認知が広がったら嬉しいです。

“Japan Coffee Project” is a project leads by Japanese company – Yamako which is one of the few companies that grow coffee trees locally in Japan. 

As you know it’s difficult to grow coffee trees in Japan due to the temperature, yet they made it successfully after years of researches and underwent a long process of trial & errors.

I’m really honored that my logo was chosen by them and am glad to participate in such a meaningful project. I hope this logo can help more people to get to know about coffee beans grown in Japan, not only people live in Japan but people all over the world.
